Register today at: The registration link is: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/804599810

This presentation is a follow-up to the August webinar and will outline OCFS, OTDA and our community partner’s way of encouraging fathers, stepfathers, foster fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, godfathers, cousins, baby’s daddies and other significant male caregivers to take their children to school in September across New York State.

On the webinar we will discuss the 2009 plans for the Dads: Take Your Child To School Project. We will give you a specific overview of the working groups currently operational throughout the State, how you can involve your school in the event and a discussion of long-term goals and activities to increase father/male involvement in schools and the direct education of their children.

We will also have special presenters:
Phillip Jackson, President of the Black Star Project; NYS Assemblyman William Scarborough, Representative from ACF Region II and others. In additional we will show a short segment of DVD footage from last year’s events in New York City.
